An elegant, minimal logo design and business for a new plank flooring company based in Tempe, Az.
To start out, my client sent me logos she liked while I was on the road up North. I wanted her to learn about Graphic Design so we could figure out what she wanted together. I sent these back to her to explain what she liked.
Next, I found commercial use typefaces for her to choose from. I took points from the options above and made sure to include them below.
Next, I experimented with taking a bar away from the "E"
The final choice was made from DTL Knoble.
Then I found the Pantone colors for the American Flag, which is something the client suggested, and subtly changed some strokes.
I experimented with different options of the initials and colors.
The final business cards are direct and to the point, just like the business.
